I thrive on leading teams, creative problem solving, innovation, and collaborating with smart people. I'm always looking for ways to improve myself in my professional and personal life. I have high standards for myself and my teams, and am fulfilled when I can maximize individual strengths to work together to achieve goals. At the same time, I'm able to adjust to adversity, enjoy the process, keep my sense of humor, and a smile on my face.

My mania for metrics is the product of spending so much of my career developing strong, but nimble, digital media strategies. Experimenting, adjusting and seeking new technologies to improve the user experience is vital for keeping an audience engaged. As a consumer, donor, and client, I expect the businesses I support to engage with me as if they know me. If they are paying attention, they should. Your audiences expect the same.

Create Order from Chaos

I enjoy the challenge of taking nebulous client asks and creating a structure, plan, budget, process and timeline for making it a reality. Asking questions, filling in the details, identifying risks, and finding the right talent to task is something I've excelled at and enjoy doing. The fun begins of motivating the interwoven teams within overlapping workflows to stay on task to deliver on time and within budget.

Spectrum Science

As a leader of the Project Management Organization at Spectrum Science, I managed a team of PMs and oversaw more than 40 of my own concurrent projects in a portfolio of five gold-tier biotech clients. Projects ranged from corporate sites in early stage investment, public relations campaigns, to FDA-approval and launch, and through commercialization and sunsetting of therapies.

Toolhouse, Inc.

One of my largest tasks as a senior project manager at Toolhouse was the consolidation of an HCP (healthcare provider) website for a major biopharmaceutical client. I led several workstreams with different overlapping teams to develop a new user experience providing both disease and branded product information together. The teams consolidated various branded product and disease information sites, from different platforms, into a seamless, compliant new domain. All users could access this client's full portfolio of products and resources under one URL. 

Western Washington University

During my seven years at WWU, I led a number of new marketing, communications and advertising initiatives. The biggest was the three-year public phase of the Western Stands for Washington Campaign that raised $62 million.

Providence Health & Services

As a contracted web producer for Providence Health & Services, I created content for a new Sharepoint website that consolidated all the patient information, healthcare providers, hospitals and care facilities, and the insurance portal into one site with a customized user experience. In addition, I wrote the Providence website user manual to train other content contributors, and was hired by ProKarma (the lead agency on the web restructure), to create a sell-in booklet for their healthcare vertical marketing efforts.

Hewlett-Packard

My agency experience included working on the HP PurchasEdge B2B rewards program, HP product launches, and the HP SuppliesFinder software tools. In addition to reseller channel engagement, I supported internal communications and HP sales rep training.
